What you do—or don’t do
Tell us whether you monitor AI answers, update content, work with an agency or use tools. If you haven’t started, that experience is useful too.
Research interviews · Clinic leaders
We’d like to hear what your clinic does—or doesn’t do—to appear in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Gemini. Your experience helps us understand how clinics approach AI visibility.
In return, we’ll share anonymized findings we’ve already collected about what competitors are doing, what they aren’t doing and the approaches they’re trying.
A 30-minute research interview. No sales pitch. Insights shared anonymously.
The study
We’re interviewing clinic leaders to learn what they’re doing, what they’re choosing not to do and what’s holding them back. During the conversation, we’ll share relevant observations from the competitor research we’ve already collected, with identities removed.
Tell us whether you monitor AI answers, update content, work with an agency or use tools. If you haven’t started, that experience is useful too.
We’ll ask what matters to your clinic, who handles this work and what makes it difficult. We’re interested in your priorities, doubts and choices.
We’ll share anonymized findings about competitors’ actions and gaps from research we’ve already collected, without identifying the clinics or people behind them.
Who we’re looking for
We’re inviting people who work inside a clinic and can explain what their practice currently does—or doesn’t do—about AI visibility and patient discovery.
Our current focus is U.S. private medical and dental practices with a clear local or regional market.
Practices of every size are welcome—from one physician or dentist to multi-clinician teams and groups with several locations.
Examples include fertility and women’s health, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, surgical practices and multi-specialty clinics. Other clinical specialties are welcome.
You’re a founder, owner, physician-owner, CEO or medical director—or a practice manager, administrator, or senior marketing or operations leader.
You know how the practice approaches patient discovery, who handles its marketing and whether AI visibility is on the agenda.
A budget decision isn’t required. What matters is that you can speak from direct experience of the clinic’s patient journey and priorities.
You can talk about what you’ve tried, what you haven’t tried and why. We’d also like to hear what you’re considering next and what feels unclear.
In return, you’ll hear anonymized observations about how competitors are approaching the same questions.
You can already be exploring AI visibility or be completely new to it. Both perspectives help the research.

Published research
Our recent study examined 322 U.S. medical questions to see whether strong Google rankings translate into citations from ChatGPT and Gemini.
The finding: healthcare marketers need to measure all three surfaces separately.

About the researcher
I founded Rotgar in 2011. Today our work focuses on how clinics are represented in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Gemini—and what evidence shapes those answers.
This research is designed to learn from clinic leaders, test assumptions against real markets and make AI visibility measurement more useful for healthcare teams.
